The reports suggest that the group, which produces a number of packaging solutions for a range of food products including meats, fruits, and salads, will make an initial investment of around 5m euro on building production facilities.
With Romania now a member of the EU community, the reports highlight the increasing number of opportunities available for packagers in Eastern European markets, as the countries economies are bought into line with other EU states.
The reports add it has earmarked a 10,500 sq metre site for the plant at Nervia, near Cluj-Napoca.
By locating itself in the centre of the Transylvanian region, the construction would grant the company a strong base in the country to distribute its ranges of flexible and barrier films.
